Getting Around
Private vehicles must be left in designated car parks on the mainland. From there, visitors can take a free shuttle bus (le Passeur), walk (about 40 minutes), or take a horse-drawn carriage to the base of the Mount. The island itself is explorable only on foot, with many steep steps.
